Firstime trying this kind of chicken..

Save your money, go somewhere else. You can find better food for better price with awesome service elsewhere. Messed up my order once. When I went in to get the right order, I paid up and they messed up the subsequent order too. I hadn't been to this location in years. I was quickly reminded why!!

Very good chicken best bang for the buck in calgary. The staff is very nice and almost everytime i get more pieces in the box than ordered! Love coming back and supporting a local family run buisness.

the best fried chicken and fries in calgary. . we do not eat anywhere else except there. I would give 5 stars but the only wrinkle is sometimes the size of the piece of chicken is too small. other than that great food. If your love chicken i recommend u to try this place.

Some of the best fried chicken in Calgary. The one, the original, often imitated, Fritou! Don't come here for atmosphere, don't come here for service, come here for the chicken! The in house hot sauce is beyond phenomenal. Try the chicken sandwich, it's delicious. It puts KFC's zinger to shame. Everything has a little bit of spice to it so keep that in mind. Their pizza selection is solid too. Never tried the fish and chips and I'm not sure if anyone has. Their fried chicken peices are go to. Never dry and seasoned well. Their fries are great too and have an excellent seasoning on them. Easy access of Stoney Trail, parking can be a mess. Location itself is small.

this place is okay, the food is good, though you might have to go early to get food because it becomes extremely busy and it's hard to move. but still a good place

I have been a regular customer of this particular location of Fritou. The food is awesome, but remember that this isn't a healthy food. It's fast food and it's boiled in OIL. It's good for a quick snack or a day you don't wanna cook at home! Customer service is above average and the food is ready in a pretty good time :)

Is there such thing a fried chicken connoisseur? If so, I think I'm becoming one!We arrived after lunch to order take out and the place was quite empty. However, we were in and out pretty quick. With a 3 piece meal (which came with fries, gravy and coleslaw for $13) and a popcorn chicken combo (that also came with fries and a pop for $15) in hand, we trekked back to our office. Nothing could have prepared me for the delicious chicken we were about to devour. It was so moist! They marinate their chicken for 18 hours, lightly bread it and fry it in sunflower oil that gives it all the flavour and extra crunch. Sooooooooo good!I'd definitely add Fritou to my list of best Calgary chicken places, I think you'll agree if you try it too!

The food was excellent chicken was tender and seasoned well. The customer service was below par. The staff could be bit more gentle with the customers.

Got my order done today at 8:22pm. Told specifically to the order take that please do not over cook the chicken but he didn’t listen. Chicken was very bad in taste and was extremely over cooked and hard plus on top of this poor and bad customer service. Even they didn’t bother to put a napkin or ketchup as well. I highly recommend not to go to this place and don’t waste your money.

Long waiting times. You will find yourself waiting up to 45 minutes for just one item on the menu. The food is not the worst food ever, but it's definitely dry. Also, better to not eat inside the restaurant. The seats are dirty and uncomfortable. Place is too small.

Food was very good but took a long time to prepare

Fantastic hot sauce!!!! They make it themselves. You get one free in a snack pack, order extras and try it on Kraft Mac and Cheese. Yum! The chicken is pretty good too.

I think there might be new owners or at least new management. Chicken is still really good but now takes a lot longer. Last time I waited 20 minutes. They will let you know after you pay...

It was my 1st visit and it won't be my last!! The food is delish, yummy. When you walk in all you can smell is delicious. Pls give this location a try, staff is helpful and friendly!! It was a HUGE hit! I wish I had a better pic to show, but go get your OWN...lol

We ordered from this location since it was first open at least twice a month. The chicken was always good, except for a few times recently where it was over fried making the chicken hard. The pizza was also good until recently, we noticed they changed the dough to a thicker one in effort to used less toppings. Our recent order was on 12/23/19, we were hoping it would have changed from the last time but it was still the same, too much dough, less toppings and the slices was limped...probably from not baking well. What is the point, to save a few ounces of topping to loss good regular customer??

Order on phone..Was Told 20 minutes..Arrived in 20 minutes.. order not ready.. 40 minutes Later Still Not ready..Poor Service

Its a great chicken. I had Mary brown too but this have great taste both have their own excellent taste but I Love Fritou burger so much, This will be my next shop for burger for rest of my life.

I could have given them five stars for their food portion and quality but their customer service is always lacking something. They always look very busy but they do not seem to care their customers. Every time I go there I find different staffs and they are not professional.

Worst location ever, the staff on the phone are rude, they messed up my order a few times, I Will never order from there again. Very disappointed !

We bought chicken on October 28, in the evening 9pcs of chicken and there was no sauce and chicken was really dry and smells like old. We used to like your chicken and your service here. I am disappointed at this time. I could have gone to other stores if i knew only.

The food tastes good but the service was terrible. When I complained about their mess up instead of apologizing the person was rude and asked us to bring the food and drinks back. Worst customer service ever. Please check your order before you leave the premises or you'll be sorry.

The service is nice but the restaurant itself isn't the best so I would recommend take-out if anything. There's better fried chicken in Calgary but Fritou's sauce is delicious and you can't get it anywhere else.

I like fritou's fried chicken and their french fries have different class. But I don't like the burger because I feel the chicken in it should be more tender soft. Overall I love it. Taste is always same great.

Food was decent, price was a little high. The woman at the front was very kind, however, getting the food took way longer than it should have. I ordered in advance, so they should have been prepared, but instead I still had to wait another 10 minutes. Speed is really something these guys need to work on.

Food:it is super hot and fresh , chicken pieces were really good and super hot fresh out of the oil. They dont make in advance so u wont get any cold pieces.i have overheard 2 different people swear that this location has the best chicken and sauce of all the fritou locations but i cant really tell as generally all fritous are tasty to me. maybe they are right but i cant tell.One of them even raves that she drives to this location all the way from S.W.Efficency:often times it can get busy so be prepared to wait a little bit as it is worth it.Space:they have tables to sit but sometimes if its busy they can all be full so be prepared for take out if the tables are full.

i ordered through the website, showed up, paid, had to wait 10 minutes still since they decided not to trust their own website. dough was old, pizza was just okay. hot sauce was good though but honestly go to any other pizza place if your here for that. their chicken is good but their fries also are cooked in oil that has deceased months ago. when you walk in you can smell their dying oil since they haven't cleaned their hood fans in months

2 peices(small leg peice 2 ounce and a small thigh peice 3.58 ounce for $5.91 cents)..seriously guys not impressed with the price.

They have the best Fritou chicken in town that I know of! However last time we were *accidentally shortened 3 pieces out of our 12 piece pickup meal order. We only realized it once we got home. They said they'd give us a 4 piece next time we go,by. To be continued/updated... once we do stop by again.

Amazing service with great food that is also halal

If you’re not ordering a lot and they’re busy, don’t expect to be accommodated nicely. Went there earlier and asked the girl in the counter if she can please check if they have 2 pieces of chicken available. Girl stared at me deadpan and said she can’t check because they’re busy... All she needed to do was turn around and ask but no...they’re busy so she can’t even ask. There wasn’t even any customer after me. Their chicken is great, but I can’t say the same for some of their staff.

Chicken pieces getting progressively smaller, prices are quite steep and popeyes is more value more the money and tastes better. Used to be a really nice place to get chicken and pizza on weekends. Chicken does taste good though, the large pizza deal is good.

Awesome......😋very crispy, fresh and delicious I go at least twice in a week, never checked google reviews. someone told me “Fritou’s customer service and food quality is going downhill as per google review”. As per my experience of few months there food standard is same as my first day at Fritou and customer service if you give them respect, talk nicely they give you presidential protocol but if you want to treat them like a slave or your paid workers in any 3rd world country then YES they are rude.“LOVE AND RESPECT YOU CAN GAIN BY GIVING OTHERS”

Halal chicken fry place. Good price and good fresh food. My only complaint is that recently the size of the chicken has gone down but still scrumptious meals. No other place in Calgary provides this quality halal chicken fry and related meals! My go to every time I crave chicken fry. Simply delicious!

Last night I order 2 chicken burger time was 10:20pm and then I ask for empty glass the guy he refuce to give me then I told him I’ll pay for the glass but I need the glass he told me u have to buy a drink if I need a empty glass clean glass why should I buy drink ???

We just had a cofee over here. The staffs and service is really good. Located in Downtown.
